Bali 2010 - A Mountain Retreat

Bali is quite a mountainous country - dormant volcanoes tower above lush terraced fields - numerous waterfalls cascade through heavily forested slopes. To spend a few days in the area, as a break from being by the sea, is an experience that shouldn’t be missed. We came across a fantastic place to stay - the Mundukmoding plantation - this is an old coffee plantation which now has half-a-dozen villas dotted through the plantation, and a large reception and restaurant with distant views across to Java.
