Diving at Maria La Gorda

Our last week in Cuba was to be spent diving from a small resort in the North West of Cuba at Maria La Gorda. The resort operated one large dive boat from the jetty in front of the resort. The boat was just about up to the job - the diving equipment left a lot to be desired, so it’s best to take your own! The boat was generally full so space was at a premium. The diving was typical Caribbean diving with a lot of sponges and soft coral, and not much fish life - pleasant but not stunning! These photos were taken using an old Motormarine camera using film, which was later digitised - so the quality isn’t the same as a more modern digital camera.
