Myanmar 2011 - MacLeod Island Diving - Gallery 1

Dive site briefings were held in the dive centre, prior to boarding the boat from the floating jetty - a good memory (or a sneak photo!) was therefore a must! The dive sites were normally a good 30-40 minute sail on the slow locally built boats. Three boats were available, but whilst we were there, it was normal for only one boat to go out. The local diving was mainly on coral reef, often adjacent to spectacular isolated rock pinnacles. The hard coral was variable, but the colourful and abundant soft corals compensated!
