A Havana Tour

We started our two week holiday to Cuba with three full days sightseeing around old Havana. We had chosen a hotel in the centre of old Havana - the hotel itself was a grand original three storey merchant house which had been quirkily converted into a 3-star hotel, but retaining many of its features and character. Old Havana itself is a fascinating place in which to spend a few days. Yes, Cuba is a poor nation, yet old Havana has much of interest with many of the old squares and buildings having been renovated. A must see are the Capitolo building, the Jose Marti tower, the National Museum and of course, a stroll along the seafront Malecon taking in the warm evening airs!
